從小上教會的緣故, 幾乎所有的聖誕歌曲都朗朗上口. 最喜歡的是"Oh Holy Night", 目前手上有 Pavarotti & Charlotte Church 的版本. 並不是故意找碴, 只是 Pavarotti 的 Oh Holy Night 拍子太快, 感覺好像要趕著快快唱完好去拆禮物, 少了一點 divine 的味道. Charlotte Church 是我很喜歡的美聲唱法, 有虔誠莊重的感覺. 我自己也唱過, 除了聖誕節的獻詩, 其他在聖誕節的小型聚會也唱. 一般 soprano不會在最後結束前四小節拉高上揚, 但是正式的樂譜是有這樣一段的曲調. 就看場合是否需要. 如果事前開聲的準備時間充裕, 是可以唱上去沒有問題. 在這段 soprano 的表現, Charlotte Church 唱得很美! 也有一些另類的聖誕歌曲, 有 remix 版本, 也有老歌新唱. 一個 70年代很紅的黑人樂團 Boney M. 在1978年有首"Mary's Boy Child/ Oh My Lord"於全歐洲都登上聖誕歌曲的 No.1.
