Bremen is one of Germanys largest seaports and maritime trade centres. Bremen is the port of Bremerhaven, 60 km north of Bremen, and the Fezer River flows to the North Sea. In addition to being an important industrial and commercial centre, Bremen has also been a major cultural centre, hosting several important festivals, notably the Free market and the Techno Festival and the International Youth Symphony Orchestra. The city has many wonderful tourist attractions that make it one of the most visited cities in Germany.

202210月份秋末的午後德國布萊梅小城,就顯得格外沉寂,雖然是週末,大多數居民扔然選擇留在家內用餐喝酒,不再像以往小城的酒吧,餐廳,咖啡館,高朋滿座,生意興隆,好熱鬧,如今冷冷清清,有些餐廳甚至於停止營業,市政廳的廣場到了夜間更是無人逗留?

秋風吹起樹葉飄飄然的隨風四散,也無人清除,更加讓人們感受到秋季的冷靜與寂靜,布萊梅古城也許在中古世紀的場景也是如此,只有馬車的馬蹄聲劃破古城的磚頭路地,在夜晚聽起來格外清晰,如今馬車服務處又將再度出動,乘客可以尋幽訪勝,回憶體驗中古世紀布萊梅迪生活.

傳統的菜市場反而生意興隆,因為蔬菜水果,雞,鴨,漁,肉等產品,適合家庭煮飯燒菜,老年人更為每天逛菜市場,選購日常生活所需要的食物及其他日用品,白天有陽光尚有少數人在廣場喝咖啡,聊天訴苦日子不好過,秋末的陽光雖然短暫,但是喜愛戶外活動的人士趁者尚未飄雪的日子,外出運動,閒逛市政廳廣場,教堂,街頭巷尾,或是購買打折扣商品為要,便宜的簡餐要價30歐元起跳,酒類果汁另外計價,雖然市政廳與商業界人士努力以赴招商及招攬觀光客,前往古城布萊梅消費可是沒有好成績? 怎麼辦? 如何是好?

From the very beginning, the Kaiserbrauerei, or “Imperial Brewery”, bottled its beer in green long-neck bottles. This set the Kaiserbier apart from other beers, which were only sold in brown bottles. At the international agricultural fair in Bremen, the company was awarded a gold medal by the later Emperor Friedrich III. This still adorns the label today..

Beck’s Brewery:Just across the river from the old town, you can visit Beck’s Brewery. Brewing since 1873, Beck’s makes one of the most famous beers in Germany and around the world.On Monday through Saturday, guests ages 16 and up can take a 3-hour tour of the brewery’s museum, the raw material room and the brewhouse to see the operation at work. Like all good tours, it ends with a tasting.

Thanks to its location near the North Sea, fish of all kinds is popular in Bremen. Since it’s Germany, beer (especially Becks) and sausage (especially a local variety called pinkelwurst) often make an appearance as do potatoes, kale, and cabbage.

There are also lots of international cuisine options, but trying the local food is a great way to get a sense for the place. We opted to try labskaus, a dish of pureed corned beef, potatoes, onions, and beets, topped with gherkin and fried eggs with herring on the side. Travel is nothing if not a culinary adventure!..

Built in 1405, Bremen’s beautiful Gothic Town Hall (Rathaus) has witnessed six centuries of history in the Hanseatic City and is one of the top places to see in Bremen. On the outside, its detailed, red-brick façade made us feel like we’d stepped into a fairy tale. On the inside, we saw the vestiges of a powerful merchant city that hosted mayors, emperors, and other influential dignitaries beginning in the Middle Ages.

The journey Bremen went through over the years resembles the roller-coaster ride which takes you up and down and back on your feet again.
