請問老師，這一句是否可以理解成「1989這一年紀錄了作為世界歷史的要素的共產主義其決定性的崩潰」。
這一句有兩個點我有疑問，一個是marked的意思是什麼？
一個是as a factor in world history是修飾communism還是
marked？希望老師能夠幫忙解惑，謝謝。
你的中譯讀起來很卡而且基本上是中文直譯，原句大意其實只是「1989年是共產主義決定性崩潰的歷史關鍵時刻」，mark 是表轉捩點的動詞，朗文字典解釋和例句如下可自行參考：

同學早，你可以尊敬她的用心，但用心不等於品質，因為通篇都是中式英文！舉例而言，第二句 Taike 的回應應該是：

她的寫法語氣上和思維上完全是中文直譯。
現實生活中已經不用 alas 當感嘆詞，而且多半在備極哀榮或聽聞噩耗時使用，如Longman例句：Donald, alas, died last year. 難不成 Kitty 是古人？
Kitty 講 the food here 但 Robert 講 the foods here；為何表達同樣的事物有單數和複數之別？
Taike（第八行）的 That's my favorite greasy rice cake. 根本是中文直譯，正確講法是 That's greasy rice cake – my favorite (snack).
下一句比較誇張，完全沒有文法觀念，好像英文的食物跟中文一樣不必有單複數之分，正確寫法應該是：
Right next to it are baked sandwiches, tempuras, oyster omelets, spearfish stew(s), shrimp and meat stew(s), shaved ice, and the one and only pot side scrapings soup! (and then 和 of course都是贅詞)
後面就不必看了，該扔的就順便扔一扔吧~
想不到錯這麼慘！
圖解那本的句子，我早懷疑有點怪怪的！
但英語口試那本竟也有錯，因為作者是留英的台灣女老師跟美籍女老師兩人一起合編的。。。
不過，口試講出這麼多負面的用詞，也是挺怪的！
還是聽大師的話，別看了！
我目前還是以閱讀英文小說當教材好了，至於台灣出的英語教材還是都丟了吧-----這樣應該比較保險了，大師認為？
通常中外合編的教材老外掛名較多，以掛羊頭賣狗肉套路販售，不看也罷。
既然要閱讀英文小說，就不需要國產英語學習教材，連英漢字典也可以丟了，這樣才可以用英文學英文，隔絕中式英文毒害，提供您參考囉~^^

這本應該是中文直譯，例如：文章一開始沒頭沒腦就來個 Mainly 並非英文用法，顯然是中文口氣代換而成，deal with 之後自由亂接想放的東西，也是中文套招，是英文的大忌，至少應該寫成 deal with issues such as strange customs, rude people, dirty streets, uncomfortable beds, and weird food
但其中用了一大堆負面帶有貶義的形容詞（strange/rude/dirty/uncomfortable/weird），這已經不是搞笑而是無知，你敢當成口試答案嗎？可能你膽子比較大~

同學午安，這本書還是用碎紙機碎掉比較保險免得貽害他人，標題手機應該是 cell phone（兩個字）而不是 cellphone（一個字），智慧型手機應該是 smartphone（一個字）卻被寫成 smart phone（兩個字）， respond 和 reply 中譯都是「回答」，請問差別在哪？
How should I word this? 中的 word 是指書寫上的遣詞用字，不是一般的「說」，傳簡訊應該是 How should I text him/her?
例句是中式英文，如 I don't want any misunderstanding. 應該是 I don't want to be misunderstood.；Oh, I know, 應該是 I got it；I'll send a winking smiley face 應該是 I'll text a winking smiley face to him/her；Don't you get fingerprints all over the screen? 應該是 Won't you be leaving your fingerprints all over the screen?
最令人髮指的是 toothbrush（牙刷）寫成 teethbrush，倉頡造字嗎？
