I’m   

I’m Grace Weng, from Minsyong, Chiayi County. My family runs a lunch house here. There are six people in my family. They are my parents, younger brother, grandmother, uncle and I. We are a big family working hard running the shop.

Since I was in the elementary school, I have always had good grades in English. I think I have the language talent. I also entered a language-gifted class in the junior high school which only the students good at English attend. When the English competitions came, I usually gave away the opportunity to the others to join. Not until the senior high school did I pluck up courage to join the English composition contest. I first attended English composition contest and got the first place. It really encouraged me and now I have more passion toward English.

    I started learning English as early as I was 11 years old. And I passed the GEPT Basic Level in the seventh grade, and the Medium Level in the tenth grade. I’m also encouraged to read English novels to improve my writing ability. The English composition contest of the south region in Taiwan is coming soon. I will represent my school to challenge the contest.

    Once I get the scholarship, I may have a new pair of glasses and buy several English novels. I decide to pass the higher level of the GEPT and, to achieve the goal, I need to keep learning and improving my English. 

為什　　為什麼我連續申請獎學金兩次都沒有？我的英文成績是全年級第一的，

難道　　因為是無名的私立學校所以不錄取嗎？

還是　　我寫的自傳不好？請知道的人告訴我。謝謝。

我真的　很希望在我高中三年中能拿到一次，希望名字被刊在雜誌上。
