A vampire from the Touhou series who has retained her child-like
appearance for hundreds of years. She's known as the "Scarlet Devil",
because when she attacks a human, she only drinks a little bit of the
blood and the rest stains her dress blood-red. Thus, she can't create
more of her kind.

She has a sibling, Flandre Scarlet, who is
less-refined than she is (and also insane). Serving her are Sakuya
Izayoi, chief maid and Hong Meiling, door guardian. Her known friend is
Patchouli Knowledge, who stays in the mansion's library. She is known
to go out to play with Reimu Hakurei in some occasion.

Unlike
typical vampires, she cannot drink blood straight, nor would she kill
anyone by sucking their blood. She also relies on her maid, Sakuya
Izayoi, to process blood to more edible forms for her consumption.

Sunlight
weakens her power drastically, but it does not destroy her. It is
unknown what are the effects of holy power towards her. Her sleeping
habits are surprisingly typical of a human's day-night cycle, instead
of night-day cycle of vampires.
