新書被爆抄襲 珍古德認了

國際知名保育學者珍古德，最新力作被舉發至少有十二處摘自各網站，包括完整引述維基百科某段內容，卻都沒有註明出處。

曾多次來台訪問的國際知名保育學者珍古德，最新力作被華盛頓郵報書評人揭發，至少有十二處內容引用維基百科、天文學網站、甚至有機茶公司的宣傳資料，且均未列舉出處，形同剽竊。消息曝光後，珍古德坦承不諱，除了公開道歉，並承諾再版時將予以更正。

以研究黑猩猩而享譽國際的珍古德，第廿五本也是最新作品「希望種子：來自植物世界的智慧與驚奇」（Seeds of Hope: Wisdom and Wonder From the World of Plants，暫譯），三百八十四頁的內容中，被舉發至少有十二處摘自各網站，包括完整引述維基百科某段內容，卻都沒有註明出處。

珍古德的新作預計四月出版，華盛頓郵報邀請植物學者撰寫書評，結果發現多處涉嫌剽竊，規模從片語詞組到整個段落，來源從維基百科、天文學、菸草、啤酒、自然和有機茶。

遭舉發後，珍古德在給華郵的電郵中表示：「這是一本經過漫長且優良研究的書，發現有些很精彩且有價值的訊息來源並未獲得適當的註明，讓我非常難過，要表達由衷的歉意。」她表示將在部落格上說明事情經過。

「希望種子」由珍古德與哈德森合著，珍古德的前兩本著作，哈德森也是共同作者，她表示將由珍古德統一對外發言。出版社Grand Central聞訊後表示訝異，稱尚未擬定再版時註明出處的計畫。

現年七十八歲的珍古德畢業於劍橋大學，她在坦尚尼亞研究黑猩猩的互動達四十五年，顛覆了人類對黑猩猩的傳統認知。她在一九九七年成立同名研究所，去年曾來台灣接受清華大學頒贈榮譽博士學位。
