以〔I’ll Be There〕為名的歌曲很多　其中最讓我感動的是英國搖滾團體逃脫俱樂部 （The Escape Club）的版本

逃脫俱樂部是１９８３年成立於倫敦的流行搖滾樂團

１９８６年推出首張專輯　但未造成迴響

直到１９８８年才以第二張大碟〔Wild Wild West／狂野大西部〕的同名主打登上美國單曲榜冠軍走紅 （只是卻沒打入英國榜）

１９９１年春天　逃脫俱樂部推出第三張專輯〔Dollar & Sex／金錢與性愛〕　

首支主打反應普通

夏天發行第二首單曲〔I’ll Be There／我會在此〕

這首抒情佳作氣勢磅礡　在空闊的編曲與流暢的節奏中
主唱以頗富磁性的嗓音緩緩演繹出一段涉及生死的感人告白

據聞是逃脫俱樂部因一位朋友妻子驟逝有感而發

並受到〔第六感生死戀／Ghost〕影響寫下的作品
歌曲描述不管主角身在何方　就算離開人間　依舊會在天上守護著所愛之人
是段發自內心的肺腑之言

〔I’ll Be There〕推出後感動許多人　打進美國流行榜＃８　銷售拿到金唱片

通常人在半夢半醒之間心境比較感性
當我聽到：

"Dont Be Afraid , Oh, My Love, Ill Be Watching You From Above"
"I May Be Die , And Go Nowhere .Just Think Of Me , Ill Be There......"

還真有種感動落淚的衝動
〔I’ll Be There〕涵蓋的對象不只愛人　

更可以擴及到你周遭每一個關心的人

假如碰到類似情形
應該會有跟歌曲主角一樣的感覺

在編曲上　〔I’ll Be There〕可能採用了蘇格蘭風笛(？)

讓我聯想起另一首使用同樣樂器的名曲〔My Heart Will Go On／愛無止盡〕

兩者皆牽涉到生死的無常
風笛淒涼的聲音更讓人有種心碎的悵然

MV則依歌詞內容而攝
以失去丈夫的妻子悲慟的與主唱演唱畫面剪輯而成

拍得相當淒美
MV特別之處在於它以電腦合成　讓鏡頭彷彿在水中攝製般
相當特別
