１９８９年　２３歲的英國靈魂歌姬麗史坦菲爾德接受英倫迷幻House舞曲雙人組Coldcut邀請

共同合寫單曲〔People Hold On〕並獻唱

這首輕快的House舞曲發行後反應不錯　拿到英國榜＃１１　也打入美國舞曲榜＃１１

另外亦打入德國＃２１　荷蘭＃３７　法國＃４５

麗莎也漸能展現出其白人靈魂嗓音特色

果真下半年便以冠軍曲〔All Around the World〕與亞軍大碟〔Affection〕躍升歌壇紅星

由Dirty Rotten Scoundrels重新混音（單曲封套上標上‘Lisa Stansfield  Vs  Dirty Rotten Scoundrels）’

這回成績更好　拿下英國榜＃４　並成為美國舞曲榜冠軍
