於初夏推出大碟〔Red Strike Back〕　自我宣告為其東山再起專輯

首支單曲為〔I Don’t Go On with You Like That／我不願再跟你這樣下去〕

這是首融合明快舞曲節拍的強力流行曲

在故鄉英國表現普通　只拿到＃３０（〔Red Strike Back〕表現也普通──銀唱片）

但在美國卻相當受到歡迎　登上單曲榜亞軍　成為１９７６年〔Don’t Go Breaking My Heart〕（＃２）後名次最高的歌曲

另外也登上成人抒情榜冠軍　舞曲播放榜＃７　主流搖滾榜＃１３

國際市榜表現也不錯：加拿大冠軍　奧地利＃６　瑞士＃１０　法國＃１９　德國＃２２　澳洲＃２４　愛爾蘭＃２５
