美國歌壇天后［琳達朗絲黛］早期作品──鄉村／搖滾／民謠──［The Long Way Around／繞遠路］

[Verse 1]

Its a cinch that Ive been wrong

And its clear its not been long

Since I was hard on you

But now a time has come

When yesterday dont mean nothin

Now Im in love with you

And youve taken me the long way around

[Verse 2]

Take a look how young we are

A month has changed the moon and the stars

Changing the things we do

Youve been lookin for something strong

When other things dont mean nothin

Now Im in love with you

And youve taken me the long way around

[Chorus]

Well I cant see beyond the doubt thats in your eye

Its on the outskirts of my fading alibi

[Verse 1]

Its a cinch that Ive been wrong

And its clear its not been long since I was hard on you

But now a time has come

When yesterday dont mean nothin

Now Im in love with you

And youve taken me the long way around
