其中前者［The Best Thing Youve Ever Done／你做過的最好的事］由Martin Charnin譜寫，當時Charnin一直對為史翠珊創作歌曲很感興趣。

為避免跟電影原聲搞混　哥倫比亞公司將其標題改為〔Barbra Streisand featuring The Hit Single The Way We Were and All In Love Is Fair〕

直到近年才回復〔The Way We Were〕原名．
