１９８４年推出首張同名大碟［Bobbysocks］（Bahama唱片發行）．

１９８５年，短襪! 以［La det swinge／讓它搖擺］贏得代表挪威參加歐洲歌唱大賽

當年５月，短襪! 以［La det swinge］拿到歐洲歌唱大賽冠軍， 這是挪威首次獲勝．

［La det swinge］由Rolf Løvland創作，Torgny Söderberg製作成一首融合舞蹈樂隊（Dansband）／施拉格（Schlager）／搖擺樂／流行的歌曲，

節奏輕快，在搖擺的節拍中，短襪!唱出歡樂氣氛．

［La det swinge］並灌錄英語版［Let It Swing］，由A. Zandra撰寫英文歌詞， 在各地發行．
