加拿大著名歌手保羅安卡（Paul Anka）在１９７０年代末事業在走下坡．

１９８３年，４２歲的安卡推出企圖東山再起的大碟［Walk a Fine Line］（Columbia唱片發行）

由Denny Diante製作＋Seline Armbeck製作[助理]，

並與作曲家/編曲家大衛福斯特(David Foster) 和作曲家/歌手/鍵盤手麥可麥唐納(Michael McDonald ) 合作，

結果是一張流暢的成人流行／流行搖滾唱片，

可是樂評平凡．大碟只登上美國告示牌專輯榜＃１５６．

首支主打為［Hold Me Til The Mornin Comes／抱著我直到早晨到來］

邀來芝加哥（Chicago）樂團主唱彼得塞特拉（Peter Cetera）與保羅合唱

（芝加哥與大衛福斯特於１９８２年合作，讓樂團事業回升）

安卡與大衛福斯特創作，大衛福斯特編曲，

Denny Diante製作成一首成人流行抒情曲，旋律優美，

在緩慢的速度間，保羅的男中音與彼得的男高音形成鮮明對比．

但［Hold Me Til The Mornin Comes］未能讓安卡像芝加哥依樣重振聲勢，

只登上美國告示牌單曲＃４０

這是保羅迄今為止在美國５３首上榜流行單曲中的最後一首（也是最後一首進入前４０名的單曲）。
