１９７９年８月, 蕾芭推出第二張大碟［Out of a Dream］

由Jerry Kennedy製作, 曲風從傳統鄉村樂逐漸轉向鄉村流行，樂評優良。

大碟並包括首支麥肯泰獨力創作的歌曲．

前三首單曲皆打入Billboard副榜──鄉村單曲榜Top４０。

１９７９年６月，蕾芭推出第三主打［That Makes Two of Us／這讓我們兩人］，由她跟傑奇華德（Jacky Ward）合唱

Jerry Fuller創作，Jerry Kennedy製作成一首鄉村流行抒情曲．

麥肯泰與傑奇的搭配營造出一股溫馨和煦的氛圍．

登上Billboard鄉村單曲榜＃２６, 為［Out of a Dream］──是蕾芭蒂事業第四首Top４０鄉村熱門曲
