進入１９８０年代後　加拿大才女歌手瓊妮米雪兒（Joni Mitchell）的事業進入叫好不叫座的階段

１９９１年２月　４７歲的瓊妮米雪兒發行第十四張創作專輯［Night Riding Home］, 由她跟Larry Klein共同製作

這是瓊妮跟Geffen唱片合約最後一張大碟

第二單曲為［Come in from the Cold］, 由瓊妮譜寫,

是首成人民謠, 在簡單的原音吉他伴奏下, 米雪兒輕輕回憶著自己的少女時光與審視中年時期, 清淡迷人,

此曲登上加拿大單曲榜＃２７　成為瓊妮自１９７６年後在故鄉最佳成績

這是米雪兒在１９９０年代的雋永佳作之一
