Ackaah Samuel started using Dingtone by friend referral about 3 years ago, somewhere around 2014. And henceforth he has been using it to reach his parents and friends back home.
Ackaah comes from Ghana and is now a medical student in his 4th year in Russia.
Like most overseas students, staying in touch with family at home can be costly. By accident, a friend introduced Dingtone to him. He found it easy to use and make free phone calls to reach family and friends.
Calling Ghana is kind of expensive but he manages to reach his mum once in a while via Dingtone.
He also bought a phone number on the app so that he can receive calls from friends.
