1st trip for Cherry Blossom in DC, our hotel Towneplace, Suites Marriott

in Chantill, Virginia

Each morning we took the local bus to the Metro and transferred the rail to

the Smithsonian stop

We purchased 7 days metro pass, a great deal considering how bad

DC traffic is and how hard it is to find long term parking

Another a great deal in DC is most museums are free
