Against the body, the floral chipao silhouetted Aligns inside a badge of honor, a restricted frame Gently shimmying, my derrière Strutted around in high-heeled shoes To your world of flame It must be a moon’s curse That seduces me to the mood for love, yet, hesitated To the only night we share I live in the deeper of your eyes From desire to desire, our kiss Suspended, the moment that will be remembered Our love puffing away as flare All that is solid melts into air At every chance that I miss (Inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s film “In the Moon for Love,” the poem was written on 2/16/10. The photo was shot at Prague.)
