In addition to the new round of Sino-American trade talk, the hottest news in China Mainland since Lunar New Year has been a fradulence in academic degree that was debunked by public.  A household name of actor and anchorperson, also a Ph.D, Zhai Tianlin, was was exposed as a liar cheating to have somehow got his "degree".  (I have no idea of who he is, for I am not interested in those people in entertainment circle.)

Time was when I was a freshman in college, a collective fradulence in Joint Examination of College was exposed in Taiwan.  Some "gunners" used mutiply-developed photo as the one on test permit so as to pass themselves off to take the examination for their unqualified "clients".  When I heard the astounding incident from newpapers, I found at least three guys in the same company as I a year ago at Chengongling Military Training Base were the ones who cheated.  According to the news, all cheats, including the "gunners", were revoked their registrations from schools.  But later on when this matter of past was brought up again, I found the eldest sister of ex President Ma got herself involved as a "gunner" then; obviously she was not penalized for the cheat.
