由剛以歌舞片［Funny Girl／俏女郎］走紅,拿到奧斯卡女主角的歌壇巨星芭芭拉．史翠珊（Barbra Streisand）擔任女主角　導演並請來一代歌舞片巨星金凱利（Gene Kelly）擔綱

只是影評好壞參半，票房也不如預期, 成本２６００萬美元, 美國總票房３３２０萬美元, 電影公司回收１５２０萬,

結果讓投資者賠了１０００萬美元

電影原聲帶（20th Century Fox Records出版）由史翠珊主導, 搭配其他表演者

在音樂劇由女主角Carol Channing演唱

結果在Billboard單曲榜封王, 以６３歲之齡成為Billboard Hot100史上最高冠軍得主

他也參加影片演出
