Annette Bening and Warren Beatty’s 17-year-old daughter Isabel joined an elite assembly of young ladies at the storied Debutantes Ball in Paris on Saturday.
The mother-of-four escorted the beautiful teenager to the charity event for a day of press and rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of society.


The American Beauty Academy Award-nominated actress, 56, looked stylish in a short black prom dresses and pure black scarf on her arrival at the Theatre National de Chaillot.
She accessorized her look with a generous amount of finery, including rings, a bracelet, earrings and a black clutch purse. Her hair was tucked back and pulled back into a twist, and she wore glasses and a modest amount of makeup.
Isabel took on a light blue dress with a sweetheart neckline and kept warm in a long black coat.
She wore her brown locks in a simple half updo and sported rose-tinted lips.


Le Bal, as it is commonly called, began almost 22 years ago and has attracted newcomers who have aristocratic or celebrity pedigrees.
The debutantes' selection process is only by invitation and is based on "appearance and parents," said event founder Ophelie Renouard in a 2004 interview with The Daily Telegraph, adding, "The girls must be able to squeeze in a sample couture ball gown. '
