The son of former Liberian President Charles Taylor was convicted Thursday in a U.S. court of torture, said a prosecution spokeswoman. Charles "Chuckie" Taylor Jr. burned, stabbed, shocked and beat his victims while leader of Liberia's police force, prosecutors said.
