In” Meeting at night” and “Parting at Morning”, author used different orders to describe setting. In” Meeting at night”, it describes from big to small. For instance, its setting is from sand, open-air, and environment to isolated and private room. However, in “Parting at Morning”, the setting is from small to big. For example, it’s from secret environment to open-air environment and the world of men. In” Meeting at night”, it is full of sensibility and uses lots of imageries. For example, “gray”, “long black”, “yellow”, “ringlets”, “slushy sand”, and “blue spurt” are used to express visual imagery. Herewith visual imagery; readers can see the scenery when they meet. Then author used sound imagery to describe what they hear. For instance, we can hear about “pushing prow”, “a tap at the pane”, “voice”, and “hearts beating”. It shows what the lovers hear. It has imagery of smelling and tactile as well. For example, you can feel “warm” and smell “sea-scented” beach. In this poem, the author used synechoche. It means the part replaces the whole. For example, prow can represents ship/ boat. And “little waves” is non-human being but author called little waves they because of their sleep. The author used the juxtaposition of various imagery to express love. Most importantly, in the end of the poem, “the two hearts beating each to each!” can show us lovers’ anticipation and excitement.

In “Parting at Morning”, it also has personification. For instance, the sea and the sun are non-human being but author used, “came”, this word. And in “a path of gold for him”, the him means the sun. The speaker mentions that he has to take his social duties, roles, responsibility, and obligations. It is full of sense.

In these two poems, we could see totally different narrations. However, it expresses men can love but also the need of a world of men.

In “Memorabilia”, author was happy to saw Shelley. He wrote this poem to express his adoration to Shelly. He thinks the meeting which he saw Shelly is very fresh and new. He used “moor” to express his heart vibrated to seeing Shelly. And then “a molted feather, an eagle feather” is a metaphor for Shelly.

In these three poems, the author expressed that things worth remembering.
