@Do any of these tales inspire you? It is not easy to invent anything. There are a lot of ideas go through our brain, but few of the ideas can be come true. Most of the ideas are daydreaming. I like the tale of disposal diaper. The goes an old saying " Necessity is the Mother of invention". From an idea to the real thing, it take a lot of efforts. And if your idea become a real invention. That's very great. There goes an another old saying " You should have dreams, but you should fulfill it step by step". I thing there are many unsung inventors, because the employee is the property of company. Any invention of employee is the property of company, so these inventions become company's invention. No one know who invent it except your company. So, that's not surprise for Toru Iwatani invent Pac-Man but he didn't even a bonus or raise. ------------------------------------------- @What are some locally invented things? Taiwanese invent pearl milk tea, but I think it does get a patent. I know there are many inventions by Taiwan, but I can't get the real examples. Maybe I should try to search from the internet to search the locally invented things. |
