I still miss the moment in the ballpark. That was my first overseas trip. "What made you come here far from Japan?" I was asked many times.

I happened to find a photo of Cheng Ching Hu ballpark which is Bears' home field. The photo was on the Beards official web site. I fell in love with the ballpark. I decided to go there at the same moment. "Yes, I will!!"

I went to bookshop and looked for travel guide. But there were no books that showed me any information about the ballpark. I had to search it by myself. After all, I had no information except the map on the Bears' web site and a satellite photo.

I was in Kaohsiung without enough information. I was wondering how I could go there. I just guessed I could take a bus near the Kaohsiung railway station. There was a bus stop area in front of the station. I asked some people in the small information office there. They kindly guided me to take the bus. They said the No.60 took me to the ballpark.

On the bus, I was relieved but worried again, "How can I recognize where I should get off?" I talked to people sitting next me. They kindly discuss, yes, they discussed how to transport me to the ballpark. LOL. A lady spoke English. She understood my request and asked the driver to assist me. I was very happy.

Taking a taxi is easier but you can meet much more people on a bus.
