Question: Topdon VeriDiag is another new line of tools? We’ve come to know and love the ArtiLink, (DIY), ArtiDiag (prosumer), and Phoenix (professional) lines. Now we have the VeriDiag lines. The VeriDiag X800BT is similar as the AD800BT2. The VeriDiag is only sold by exclusive distributors. Both are Android-based, Bluetooth-enabled bidirectional tools aimed at DIY enthusiasts, independent mechanics, and small shops. They offer full-system diagnostics, active testing, and extensive service/reset functions without the high cost of dealer-level equipment.
No meaningful difference between hardware. Both tools excel at full-system diagnostics across 80+ vehicle makes.
The main difference: Service & Reset Functions ArtiDiag800BT 2: 28+ service/reset functions (Oil Reset, EPB, SAS, DPF, TPMS, BMS, Injector Coding, Throttle Adaptation, Transmission Adaptation, Crankshaft Calibration, Air-Fuel Ratio, Window/Suspension programming, EGR, Water Pump, Odometer calibration, and more). VeriDiag X800BT: 34 reset services — explicitly upgraded with six additional functions (examples include extra ABS Bleeding, advanced Brake Reset, more specialized BMS/EPB/TPMS options, and others commonly needed for modern vehicles). Both also support data recording, report generation, and sharing.
