Mt. Jade When it was Thursday, May 14th , our family went to Realtek at 8:00. We put our bags on the back of the bus and started driving. There was 10 people going to Mt.Jade including us. It was pretty boring so I slept for three-fourth of the ride. When we arrived, it was already midnight. We walked a short path to a place where people can sleep. There was this guy sleeping near the door walking arounf looking for a key to a room. It was pretty easy to fall asleep because first of all,I was really tired and second of all, it was pretty comfortable. We woke up at around 6:00 the next morning. We took the short path back to the parking lot. We ate the stuff we baught when we were coming here. The bus driver made us milk tea. We walked to the place where they had to check your entrance permission and stuff like that. We took a 2.6 km car ride up to the entrance. It started of pretty easy because there wasn't that much slopes or rocky roads for the first 2-4 kilometers. The first place we rested was at Dr. Monroe's resting place. It was because once Dr. Monroe who was a biologist, was studying stuff there and he fell off and past away. We continued walking until 10:00 . I tripped right before we were at the place where we ate lunch. We had instant noodles for our lunch. One of the flavor was beef flavored. It was disgusting . We continued walking and walking. At one point we saw a long line of people. We had to wait a long time until they past us. Some of our group members said that they had to go up to get their graduation certificate. At around 6 or 7 km, we stopped at the Great Precipice. Some people went on climbing it. It was not very hard to climb, but it was hard to get down. I slipped but luckily an uncle caught me. The rest of the roads were harder and I felt like they were never going to end because my legss were getting sore. One of the uncles went fast ahead because he had to use the bathroom. Anyways, my brother and I arrived at Paiyun at 1:00. My mom and dad arrived 30 minutes later. The rest of the group went on another trail called the West Peak. They came back not satisfied because it wasn't as beautiful as they had predicted so luckily I didn't go. My brother got mountain sickness and was feeling bad. We had the WORST dinner at around 5:00. I only ate 2-3 bites. We went to bed at 8:00. I got up at 10:00 to throw-up and went back to sleep. I dont think anyone could sleep well that night. The leader of the group called us up at 1:30 to eat the gross midnight snack. We were he last ones to leave. We couldn't see anything so we put on headlights.it was really long but it was only 2.4 km long. We walked the rocky road to a resting place. Like I said before, we were the last ones to leave but we were the first ones to get to the resting place. After the 30-40 minute rest, we went on again. For the rest of the roads, we had to use metal chains to get down. Finally, we got to the top of Mt.Jade!!!!!! We saw the Sun rise up. It was a beautiful sight. Then some of our group members made the same milk tea as before. We took pictures of it and when I was standing there, nothing was higher than me. It felt great. But the bad thing was, I was all sleepy because I anly slept for 1-2 hours. When we were heading down, I felt like I was going to do a 3952 meter fall from the mountain. My brother ,the leader and I was way ahead of everyone. We arrived at Paiyun 25minutese earlier. I heard from the uncles that my dad fell down and got blocked by a tree. My dad's pole was bent. We ate the disgusting noodles before we went down. We went down really fast to the place we ate lunch at. We saw those mountain people carrying 40 kg bags. We arrived at the place we ate lunch around 11:00. My brother, 2 other uncles and I went ahead of every one. We arrived at the entrance very fast. We took the bus ride down and waited for the other people. When they were all here, we rode to a restaurant.Believe me, none of the food there was good. There was flies all around and the food was bad. At last we went back to Realtek. I think that Mt.Jade isn't that hard after all. ===================================================================== 以下是經由國一的哥哥修正之後的版本 ===================================================================== Mt.
