I was not able to watch the French v.s. Switzerland game. But the Brazil-Croatia game was a great one.

My lunch was great with this game playing on TV during lunch time.

Kafu made a perfect pass to Kaka, and Kaka just delivered it, jsut before the end of the 1st half. 1-0, it was also the final score.

Is Kaka really that good since his goal seemed so effortless, or Kranjcar is just a terrible defender? I really felt that Kaka was dancing his samba, took his time, dribbled around, and aimed, shot, at ease. It could not be more clear that it was going to be a good shot. Kranjcar is going to have more trouble to prove he deserves to play.

Earlier this year, I watched one AC Milan game and Kaka was not that sharp in that game.  He looked more comfortable with his Brazilian teammates.  It is a good sign for Brazil.

 I always like the Croatia team that always keep their composure. To me, Croatia was more impressive in this game compared to Brazil.   They wasted too many good opportunities during this game.  It could be a even more exciting game if both team captured their opportunities. In contrary, Ronaldo was so slow in the game.  He does not show any sign of in good shape. 

Some highlights from the game:  In the beginning of this match, two good plays by Brazil, Carlos' and Ronaldinho's shots within two minutes were pretty exciting.  Pletikosa's save on Ronaldinho's low shot was a great save.   

After the goal by Kaka, Croatia played more aggressive in 2nd half.  Prso made a good shot on the left side.  Dida blocked it, and Carlos did a good job in clearing it. Later, Dida and Prso had good opportunity but Croatia just failed to tie the game.

The most impressive performance was from Kaka, who I actually like the most, since he showed some similarity of Zico.
