勞保局提醒，暑假工讀要注意自我權益​
暑期工讀雖然是短期性工作，雇主仍應於工讀生到職當日，為其申報參加勞工保險、就業保險、勞工職業災害保險並提繳勞工退休金，以保障青年學子的工作生活安全及勞動權益，並避免受罰喔！

除了雇主每月強制提繳的退休金外，工讀生也可依個人的經濟狀況在每月工資6%範圍內彈性自願提繳退休金，建議及早參加，累積更多退休金。

The BLI reminds the employers that, although the summertime jobs are offered on a short-term basis, the employers should enroll these student workers in Labor Insurance, Employment Insurance, Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and start contributing to labor pension on the date of employment. The purpose is to protect the job security and labor rights of the student workers and avoid penalty.

Aside from the employer’s mandatory monthly pension contributions, workers under the new pension system may voluntarily contribute any amount within 6% of their monthly salary. It’s recommended that workers participate as soon as possible to accumulate their own pensions.
