Resetting the check-engine light on your Toyota car needs to be done after you've finished fixing your Toyota car. Examine the diagram on the back of the fuse panel cover and find the location of ECU fuse.

Use the fuse pullers within the fuse panel to remove the ECU fuse.

Put the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position, but don't start the engine.

Wait about five minutes,gm tech2 then replace the fuse. The Check Engine light will blink a few times then shut off for good.

Turn off the vehicle and replace the fuse pullers. Close the fuse panel cover.
