People are often deluded by false appearances. They can’t see their true nature. So, they always chase after external objects.  As a result, they get farther and farther away from the reality. 

人常被外在的假相所騙，見不到真正的如來本性，不斷的向外追尋，只會離實相愈來愈遠。
