| 之前有提到我要去菲律賓上課... 找了一間語言學校叫Monol...在碧瑤，據代辦處說，這是一所在韓國相當受歡迎的學校，以嚴格出名。 不過，代辦處不管如何保證，我還是很擔心，所以還是不斷的google這間學校的資訊 然而在台灣搜尋跟菲律賓遊學相關內容的資訊，少的可憐，大部份都是代辦處的資訊(不想完全相信) 我去找到韓國學生的心得，可以參考一下，有空我在來就我的菜英文的認知簡單翻譯一下 Monol's life When I was in middle school and in high school I was with the school's taekwondo team. I spent most of my time training and competing. I did not care much about English so, when I came here to study all I knew was the alphabet. I have studied for six months and after studying for another six months, I will go to America. What encouraged me to study English? A Korean Taekwondo instructor who owns several gyms in America asked me if I want to go and teach Taekwondo there. I hesitated. I could not speak English. After giving it a serious thought, I decided to come to the Philippines. I once heard that life is not addition but more of multiplication. Example; 0+1=1, 0x1=0. Putting zero as your ability and multiplying it with any number for opportunity. No matter how many opportunities to come, it would still result to nothing without something to start with so I decided to study English and improve my ability from 0 to 1. I don't have the idea on how to study English. I just chose Sparta Monol considering it's strict education system. Monol's system is far different with Korean education system. In Korea, we study English just as a subject in class. In Monol we study how to use English as a language. In Korea, we study to pass or get a high score in exams. In Monol, we study english hard so we can use it for communication. Specially Interchange class, (4:1) it's a 4 students one teacher class, we learn how to express ourselves using the interactive activities. Even shy students would be forced to talk and interact so their personality also changed. The three students one stay-in teacher program is also good. We get to stay with a teacher in the dorm room which is very helpful in studying the English language because I have more time to practice speaking English even after class hours. At first, it was uncomfortable leaving with a Filipino because of differences in culture but after adjusting myself I learned a lot from my teacher not only about English but also about their culture. I recommend studying English abroad. We can study English in korea but how many hours do we spend to study English in a day. And how many times can we practice using expresssions we learned in real life situation. To learn English. we have to consider 2 things. First is to know it and second is to use it. In Monol, I study from 6 am to 6pm. After these hours of studying, I have self study. Then, I speak with my room teacher before going to bed. I live with English in Monol Academy. ---------菜英文翻譯版---------(給想去但看不懂心得的人看@@) 他說當他在中學及高中的時候，他在學校的跆拳道校隊(os:跆拳道!!!說了就有氣)，他花了很多時間在練習跟比賽，從來不曾在乎過英文，所以當他到Monol的時候，他幾乎只認識字母而已…他先去念了六個月，爾後又去了六個月，就要去美國了。 是什麼激勵了他去學英文??因為他在韓國的一個跆拳道教練在美國有好幾間健身房，教練問他想不想要去那邊教跆拳道，然而他猶豫了…因為他根本不會講英文吶!(中間跳過一點)他選擇了斯巴達式的Monol，Monol的教育方式，跟韓國不一樣(跟台灣也不一樣) 在韓國，念英文都是一堂課一個主題，而在Monol我們是在學如何使用英文，在韓國，我們念英文為的是考試過關或是拿到高分，在Monol我們努力念英文讓我們可以溝通，(在台灣我們又何嘗不是啊Orz...心酸)可以真正去用它，特別是他的課程...1對1, 1對4 (我懶得翻了...有空再續) |
