Federalist

The Federalist Papers are a series of 85 articles and essays written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay promoting the ratification of the United States Constitution.

Thomas Paine

An English-American political activist, philosopher, author, political theorist and revolutionary.

James Madison
An American statesman, political theorist and the fourth President of the United States (1809–1817). He is hailed as the "Father of the Constitution" for being instrumental in the drafting of the United States Constitution and as the key champion and author of the United States Bill of Rights

1.blasphemy (noun)

    Irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable.
        e.g.: That imam said that drawing the prophet Muhammad is a form of blasphemy.
    The act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for any religion's deity or deities.

    An intense concentration, force or power.
        e.g.: The bear attacked with vengeance and vehemence.
    A wild or turbulent ferocity or fury.
        e.g.: His response was bursting with hatred and vehemence.
    Eagerness, fervor, excessive strong feeling.

4.whatsit (noun)

    A thing (used in a vague way to refer to something whose name one cannot recall, or that one is embarrassed to say)
        e.g.: Pass me one of those whatsits, will you?

5.contagious (adjective)

    Of a disease, easily transmitted to others.
        e.g.: The flu was so contagious that everybody in town got sick!
    Of a fashion, laughter, etc., easily passed on to others.
        e.g.: Wearing jeans was a contagious fad at that time.

6.reciprocate (verb)

    To mutually give and take something; to interchange.
    To give something in response.
    To move backwards and forwards, like a piston.
    To counter, retort or retaliate.

7.mutually (adverb)

    in the same way, each to the other; reciprocally
        e.g.: The contract was mutually binding.
    in a shared manner; equally; affecting all parties the same way
        e.g.: The adventure was mutually beneficial.

8.attire (noun)

    One's dress; what one wears; one's clothes.
        e.g.: He was wearing his formal attire.

9.realm (noun)

    An abstract sphere of influence, real or imagined.
    The domain of a certain abstraction.

10.abstraction (noun)

    The act of abstracting, separating, withdrawing, or taking away; withdrawal; the state of being taken away.

11.ramp (noun)

    An inclined surface that connects two levels; an incline.
    A road that connects a freeway to a surface street or another freeway.

12.ram (noun)

    A male sheep or goat; a billy.
    A battering ram; a heavy object used for breaking through doors.
    A warship intended to sink other ships by ramming them.
    A piston powered by hydraulic pressure.

13.elevate (verb)

    To raise (something) to a higher position; to lift.
    To promote (someone) to a higher rank.
    To ennoble or honour/honor (someone).
    To lift someone's spirits; to cheer up.

14.weigh (verb)

    To determine the weight of an object.
    Often with "out", to measure a certain amount of something by its weight, e.g. for sale.
        e.g.: He weighed out two kilos of oranges for a client.

15.absolver (noun)

    Agent noun of absolve; one who absolves.

16.jerk (noun)

    A sudden, often uncontrolled movement, especially of the body.
    A quick, often unpleasant tug or shake.
        e.g.: When I yell "OK," give the mooring line a good jerk!

17.intricacy (noun)

    The state or quality of being intricate or entangled;
    Perplexity; involution; complication; complexity;
    That which is intricate or involved; as, the intricacy of a knot; the intricacy of accounts; the intricacy of a cause in controversy; the intricacy of a plot.

18.endow (verb)

    To furnish with money or its equivalent, as a permanent fund for support; to make pecuniary provision for; to settle an income upon; especially, to furnish with dower; as, to endow a wife; to endow a public institution.
    To enrich or furnish with anything of the nature of a gift (as a quality or faculty); — followed by with, rarely by of; as, man is endowed by his Maker with reason; to endow with privileges or benefits.
    To bestow freely.
    To be furnished with something naturally.
        e.g.: She was endowed with a beautiful voice.

19.bestow (verb)

    To lay up in store; deposit for safe keeping; stow; place.
    To lodge, or find quarters for; provide with accommodation.
    To dispose of.

    A place.

21.innate (adjective)

    Inborn; native; natural; as, innate vigor; innate eloquence.
    Originating in, or derived from, the constitution of the intellect, as opposed to acquired from experience; as, innate ideas. See a priori, intuitive.

23.wither (verb)

    To shrivel, droop or dry up, especially from lack of water.
    To cause to shrivel or dry up.

    streak of light caused by extraterrestrial matter entering the atmosphere

25.denounce (verb)

    To criticize or speak out against (someone or something); to point out as deserving of reprehension or punishment, etc.; to openly accuse or condemn in a threatening manner; to invoke censure upon; to stigmatize; to blame.
        e.g.: to denounce someone as a swindler, or as a coward
