Mid-autumn moonlight shining on the garden

中國歷史有承傳
秋高氣爽花滿山
佳餚桌上嚐月餅
節日團圓闔家歡

月光浮雲雖然遠
照亮大地和山川
滿地芬芳樹爭艷
園林花卉聚人緣

In autumns season with fresh air and flowers over the mountain
Tasting the gourmet and moon cakes around the table
Gathering to celebrate the festival all with joy

Although moonlight and clouds are far away
Lighting up lands, rivers, and mountains
Fragrance spreading all-over places and trees striving for their beauty
Flowers in the garden attracting people to enjoy


（２）水調歌頭--蘇東坡
丙辰中秋，歡飲達旦，大醉，作此篇，兼懷子由！
(Mid-autumn 1076, enjoy drinking all night, drunk,
write down this poem, also miss my brother Ziyou.)

　明月幾時有？
When will the full moon come up again?
　把酒問青天
Holding the wine I ask blue heaven,
　不知天上宮闕
I dont know the palace up in heaven,
　今夕是何年？
What year is it tonight at this moment?

　我欲乘風歸去，
I want to fly there,
　又恐瓊樓玉宇，
Yet fear in the crystal hall and jade tower,
　高處不勝寒。 
There could be too high to bear coldness.
　起舞弄清影，
Rise up dancing with own clear shadow,
　何似在人間？　　
I wonder if I am still on earths land?

　轉朱閣，
Moonlight goes around the red attic,
　低綺戶，
Passing through a low gorgeous window,
　照無眠。
Shining upon the sleepless night.
　不應有恨，
Nor should I hate,
　何事長向別時圓。
Though my dear has gone far away when the moon turns bright.

　人有悲歡離合，
Life is with sorrow, joy, separation, and reunion,
　月有陰晴圓缺，
Like moon could be dim, shining, waxing, and waning,
　此事古難全。
Nothing was perfect throughout the old days.
　但願人長久，
Wish we can live long,
　千里共嬋娟。
Keep sharing the same moon thousands of miles away.
