I don't know the religion of 法輪功.

I remember when I paid a visit to my mother in China, there was a member without
invitation came to mother's home to preach about 法輪功.
It was an annoy things to do.

This is the 2nd contact with people of 法輪功. I responded the public letter with my take.
I felt when if there were a choice between my love to my parents and my belief in the religion,
I would give priority to my passion of love to my parents first. Challenging the authority for the
personal gain of power in her religion should not be encouraged. That is selfishness. If that is the principle of 法輪功 I would suggest that she save her heart before saving other people.

In her public letter, she mentioned that Chinese government offered compromise by asking her to write a letter of "Confession" then would issue a new passport to her. That is a Big step for the new Communist party to give-in an inch in consideration of international pressure of Human Right movements. "Rome is not built in one day." I feel China is moving slowly
to a new direction and trying to maintain the pace of economic growing simultaneously.

Freedom of Religion in China will not be obtainable in short period. Those who dedicated to promote religion in that country are moving to the right direction. However,

In all religion from time to time we observed a few enthusiasts promote the religion out of their personal gain. Christian or 法輪功 enthusiast with the personal gain in mind should be called  Evil Christian or Evil 法輪功."

When you advocate the religion disregard the both laws in the United States and China, your motive is the personal gain of your religious power and influence and has nothing to do with religion.
