Larry King life today in his program, was talking about coronary disease. This keeps me thinking about our mother country, ROC
1. What is our # 1 killer in whole Taiwan, ROC?
2. Is there any statistics about our #1 killer? I believe it is liver cancer.
3. Suppose there were 3.5 million populations has HB related disease, then that is 15% of total population? I have not seen government organization in this regard spent time and money to promote the awareness of this disease. Nor did the big media.
4.Watch in NHK overseas, they also has program periodically broadcasting the health topic, which attracts lots of attention.
5. I am subscribing DISH network that does not provide any international channel.
6. It remains to be seen that when public of ROC would make a national topic and do not care to talk about it shamelessly. It is not aids that you might have to hide in the closet. Some of people are just damn unlucky just like me got it from Taiwan Mongolia doctors after you became middle age. Particularly you cannot blame those whose patient of HB disease was passed on from their parents. My ex -friend, Edmond Chen told me that he had been one of the unlucky one.
