| Speaking of my mom, I really feel funny. Knowing her for all my life, she still can surprise me a lot. It shocked me the reason was that she had told me more than once that she will never ever raise another dog in her life, not to mention a dog big like a "horse." That was what my mom's description about the grown-up golden retrivers. I remembered she said :"except over my dead body." Well, the pet did show up on time on July First, 2006. During the four days in my brother's house, I observed my mom and found out one funny fact. She could complain all the way through she saw the dog pee and poo, nagged about it, and finished cleaning within a minute. What do you know about women? Even I'm one of them. During the last day of my vacation in Taipei, I asked my mom whether she would like to go home with me and she could be free from the labour of caring for the little puppet. She told me that was the very reason she couldn't leave now. She has to stay at home and train that little monster. If she ran with me, the dog would ruin her house and that was out of the question for now. So you see, actually, this is what I guess, the truth is that she loves the puppet more than any other person in my whole relatives. That is. ....... Give me a break, will you. I have been worrying about this over two weeks and she accepts the dog just like snapping her fingers and everything will be all right again. Goodness. Mother |
