brave：為含意最廣的一般用語，指英勇堅毅不畏艱險之意。

courageous：表示性格上的堅決與毅力，勇於面對任何考驗。

bold：是大膽無畏，有幾近厚顏無恥、冒昧之意。（逞匹夫之勇？！）

valiant ／ˋvæljənt ／：表示有高尚氣質的英雄的驍勇。

Plucky／ˋplʌkɪ ／：是指處在不利條件之下，一個人猶不屈不撓，勇敢且有膽量。
