Last weekend, passed by the building "Spot Taipei Film House"and ran into the toilet. This building once served as the residence of the U.S. ambassador. Afterward I found the magazine I liked and bought some missing issues. Since I couldn't travel a lot, I could pay NT$100.- monthly to support those great travellers and writers to tell us something new out there. Lots of tiny fashion studios, atliers and galleries popped up in the narrow alleys around "Chung-Shan" MRT. Walking in the blocks made me think of those days when I worked there decades(!!) ago. The following is some not so hot spots recommended: >"Body Map" (a fashion shop, love the linen clothes there): "Gallery Restaurant," a fancy restaurant in a 2-story ancient house "MB More," a block print gallery (30 m*m only!) "Un Petit Cadeau," a patisserie (about 10 m*m! the smallest patisserie in the world!!) |
