NBA》交易成功關鍵　基德、德隆說服KG赴籃網

美國《雅虎體育》專家沃亞洛夫斯基（Adrian Wojnarowski）透露，賈奈特（Kevin Garnett）願和皮爾斯（Paul Pierce）赴籃網，這和新帥基德（Jason Kidd）、德隆（Deron Williams）說服有關。

沃亞洛夫斯基在個人推特上表示，「知情人告訴雅虎體育，籃網總經理比利-金（Billy King），教練基德和籃網核心德隆-威廉斯在選秀大會期間，一直和賈奈特溝通，意圖說服他同意交易加盟籃網隊。」

這筆交易的最後阻礙是賈奈特是否願意放棄自己的交易否決權，和好友皮爾斯一同赴籃網打球觸動賈奈特，同時籃網同意付給賈奈特在2014-15賽季的全額合約的1200萬美元後，他放棄交易否決權。

在塞爾提克和籃網隊完成交易之前。勇士也曾問詢過但未能就交易達成一致。此外，塞爾提克還和小牛商討關於皮爾斯和賈奈特的打包交易，最終也沒能談成。

此外，綠軍在和籃網隊完成交易前，還曾和小牛隊商討過KG打包皮爾斯的交易。而勇士隊也曾問詢過綠軍，但最終都沒有達成一致。
