The rubber magnet (or so called flexible magnet) is widely used now in micro motors, door sealings and other electrical appliances, with its flexibility and convenience. Yet, to clear everyones mind, I still have to emphasized that the rubber magnet itself has no magnetism, which comes from the powder covered on the surface of rubber. The choices of the magnetic powder varies, including Fe-Co powder, Fe-Ni powder and Fe-Ba powder, and because of the costs, the Fe-Co is most widely used. Rubber magnets are surprisingly versatile. They can include different materials and transfer to different size and shape.

Rubber magnets can be machined into magnetic strips, magnetic rolls or magnetic sheet. The surface of rubber magnets can be covered with PVC and copper-plate paper, making them ideal for different working situations and lives. The most common application in daily lives of rubber magnets is refrigerator magnets.
