Daffodils 水仙花 By William Wordsworth (1770-1850). I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the Milky Way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay, In such a jocund company: I gazed -- and gazed -- but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils. 試譯大意如下： 我像一朵孤獨的雲飄過山巔與低谷 忽然遇見一大片閃著金光﹑舞著微風的水仙 在湖畔樹下迎向我 多如銀河閃爍繁星沿著湖畔伸展 千萬舞動的嬌軀向我頻頻點首 這金色的花濤豈是湖裡的波光能比? 詩人除了感恩於這愉悅的賜予 夫復何言? 每當我獨自擁著寂寥而臥 水仙的身影於是在心底展現 邀我翩然起舞
