| 以前在基督書院唸書的時候，我們要對基督教有暸解。學校不強迫你信教，但是基本的一定要知道。這一定得包含了【聖經】中最有名的「主禱文」。我們第一次期中考，就要能默寫「主禱文--The Lord's Prayer」。 我找了很久，都沒有在美國找到我台灣聖經的版本，也不記得台灣書院用的是哪個版本。但是我今天發現，和我印象中的主禱文最接近的是「King James」版。如同以下: (我有小改了一下，改成我比較熟悉的話語) Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 還有其他的版本把 debts/debtors 寫成 tresspasses/tresspassers，我不是很喜歡。 第一句的「Our Father who art in heaven」有的寫「Our Father which art in heaven」，我也不是很喜歡…… 我覺得我已經習慣我第一次學習的版本，我沒有辦法接受第其他版本的說法。不過，今天讓我找到我習慣的主禱文，真的很令我開心。 ~與大家分享~ |
