關於F-16戰鬥機軍售台灣一事…講了半天就是缺少為什麼老布希總統會180度改變態度,大量批准賣出150架F-16A/B戰鬥機給台灣,因為全世界只有三個人知道遊說內情,老布希總統,總統白宮助理,還有一個在美國國防工業公司服務多年出生在台灣的華裔美籍的軟體工程師,因為其處事低調以致至今無人知曉整個過程,不過當年白宮辦公室確實發出了一封感謝函給遊說人,也許將來會公諸於世吧!

Because of US Gerenal Dynamic workers were to retretch, about 150 x skilled labor workers were going to lose job. Year 1992 was US General Election year, to ensure the voters to Bush gov was the 1st priority. Sold the aged and obsolete F-16 A/B block 20 to Taiwan with an extreme high price was wise decision to boost US economy then. During year 1990s US sold F-16 C/D to South Korea and Singapore but sold the low end and obsolete F-16 A/B to Taiwan at extreme high price.

@juweikwen4030 So, Do you know whose idea in the first place to downgrade the fighter's performance and sell more units to Taiwan? In order to help President Bush to win the Presidential Elections?
