On 8/27 at around 9:10pm my amniotic fluid (water) broke. My husband, my mom, and I hopped into our van; we rushed to the hospital's emergency room. I got asked to pee in a cup because they wanted to make exactly sure that my water did break. Then, a nurse came to ask me my health history questions; she also told us we are waiting a room for you. The doctor suggested they start the IV by 4AM. If I okay it, there will be a nurse come by 3:30AM to do the prep work for the IV which to hasten child delivery. But, it wasn't until 9pm the next day my vaginal orifice arrives at 10 centimeters. Personally, because of many side effects of Anodyne Labor, I was going to have the nature produces. Then, the labor contractions got worse than I suspected, so I decided I want painless childbirth. To my surprise, they put an Indwelling Urinary Catheter on me. On the day I get discharged from the hospital, I took it home with me for two days. Then, returned to the women clinic and was able to pee on my own after all.
Our daughter was born on 8/28 at 10:30pm.
