he was on okcupid and he called himself Jerry Origen.
My name is Nancy and I live in Southern California. I do not speak Chinese, but I just ran across your blog about online dating scams because was searching the internet for the name of a guy I had been talking to on okcupid, who suddenly stopped conversing with me about 1 week ago. On May 5, 2013, a lady named Claudia had posted to your message board the exact same name and email (jerry.origen@gmail.com) and also said he contacted her thru okcupid. She even posted an entire email from him apologizing for asking her for money. I couldn't believe it! In the email, he even calls her "sunshine" like he calls me. This same guy is probably about to ask me for money (tho I would never send it). Anyway, I wanted to post this info on your blog but it wouldn't let me. Maybe because I was viewing it thru "Google Translate".
This guy also sent me a couple of pictures, which I downloaded. I hope my computer does not have a virus now! I am sure they are fake, but I will send them if you want them. Incidentally, he told me that he was born in Greece, both parents were dead (tho he was only 37) he used to be an engineering drilling consultant with BP in Chicago, but had just moved to Southern California to start his own consulting agency. He also sent me a lot of questions to answer, to see if I was "the One" he was looking for. We emailed daily, then suddenly he went out of the country to Scotland to work his new contract he had just won. I asked to meet him before he left town, but he could not. Then we emailed a bit, he asked for my number but never called. I didn't hear from him for a couple of days, then he suddenly emailed and said he had been at an offshore site, wasn't feeling well, and sent me his international phone number. I have not called it, and it has been a week
since we have emailed. Maybe he will leave me alone now, but if he contacts me I may tell him he has to call me at work, and then leave him the number of the police station or something. Wouldn't that be hilarious?
Again, thanks for your blog! You can post this email to your blog if you like!
