9日的表決將是繼前總統盧武鉉2004年遭彈劾以來的第二次，一旦通過，朴槿惠就會立刻被停職，由總理黃教安代理，接著由憲法法庭在180天內裁決。如果9名法官中有6人以上同意，那麼朴槿惠將被正式解職，並於60天內舉行總統大選。但目前憲法法庭由保守派組成，加上有2人任期將滿，專家認為，不論是政治傾向或是縮小的法官陣容，可能都對朴槿惠比較有利。（民視新聞綜合報導）
