| 上過Mike老師課的同學都知道，老師在教授「現在完成式」使用要件時，一定會提到 " as yet " 這個用在「否定句」中的「副詞片語」，但是在使用上要特別注意 " as " 的省略，道理跟之前所說的 " as per " 相同，請看例句： We have not found Mary's lost purse as yet. (劣) We have not found Mary's lost purse yet. （優） = We have not yet found Mary's lost purse. 我們到目前為止仍未找到瑪莉遺失的皮包。 但要注意 " as yet " 若置於句首，" as " 不宜省略，因為 " yet " 置於句首有「最後仍然」的意思： As yet John has not finished his homework. = So far John has not finished his homework. 約翰到目前為止功課還沒寫完。 Yet John has not finished his homework. = Despite everything, John has not finished his homework. 最後約翰的功課還是沒寫完。 同學們在實際運用前述用法的時候要特別留意唷
