「5、4、3、2、1」，在群眾的倒數聲中，2010年來到，而就在那一霎那，包括了米高梅賭場大酒店(MGM Grand)、好萊塢星球(Planet Hollywood)、亞律雅(Aria)、凱薩皇宮(Caesars Palace)、金銀島(Treasure Island)、威尼斯人(The Venetian)和高塔賭場酒店(Stratosphere)頂樓，紛紛燃起了絢爛煙火，驚嘆聲不絕於耳。

Casino Winners: MGM, Las Vegas Sands

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Casino shares have shot up amid investors' optimism about the Las Vegas CityCenter development.

The massive, $8.5 billion casino and hotel development, spearheaded by MGM Mirage(MGM Quote), has been a source of both worry and excitement in the casino industry, as it the market wonders whether the impressive development will steal market share from other casino companies -- and maybe even cannibalize MGM's own businesses.
