英國「星期泰晤士報」連載回憶錄，指出皇后合唱團主唱佛萊迪摩克瑞曾將黛安娜王妃扮成男模特兒，偷偷帶她混進同志酒吧。

喜劇演員克萊奧羅蔻斯在新書「正面暢飲的力量」（暫譯）中，描述她、摩克瑞和同為喜劇演員的肯尼厄佛萊特在1980年代晚期將黛安娜王妃裝扮成男模的趣事。

他們讓黛妃穿戴軍裝外套、帽子和墨鏡，到倫敦南部的皇家沃克斯豪爾酒吧享受夜生活。

她表示，她不知道黛妃的男模打扮是否有招來搭訕，但她說，「她看起來的確是個俊俏的小夥子」。

羅蔻斯回憶，當時有摩克瑞、厄佛萊特和她在場，分散狂歡群眾的注意力，因此黛妃沒被認出，可以自在點酒喝。

黛安娜王妃是英國查爾斯王儲的前妻，1997年在巴黎因狗仔跟車而出車禍，香消玉殞。
